2025 07 23 – A Day in the Life (163 days)

CONWAY, South Carolina – Since Sandra’s passing and Mickey’s data dump on me, I’ve been working on the family tree. *Rolls Eyes*

Just the Cochran (male) line blows out to this after several clean-ups and “deep-dive document” research.

I’m printing (copying source) in a ‘both-sides’ format where applicable. The ‘family group’ paperwork cannot really be done in 2 sided as much as I wish it could. *sigh* Then I send a digital copy of the paper copies.

It is amazing how much paperwork is out there in history once you start looking. Be fruitful and multiple as commanded by our Lord/God. To read the “Will and Testament” left in some of the records you would be amazed at how “Non-PC” the language in our public records. It is not a surprise to me since God is first in my family lineage on all sides of the families.

More to come after we (aka me/myself/and I) clean it all up with citations only, if possible. Thanks Mickey, Woots, and Mammy for the information.

2025 07 19 – A Day in the Life

With the data dump I got from our recent passing, I restarted my Ancestry.com account back up for at least a month or so to get this new data into the systems. And they have upgraded the systems a lot since 2020 when I stopped working on the rather massive tree with so many branches.

Timothy got updated and others.

2025 07 02 – A Day in the Life

October 2021 Timothy V. Cochran Move Day – Two brothers together

1:58 is a spot of Timothy

There will be a much more updated video history coming soon. I’ve got to edit/upload them then post.

Timothy and family were moving to a new gig more Northwest from this ‘ole farm house. The pasture surrounding had cows and horses. Timothy told me the girls would fee them through the fence and got a hoot out of it. I know what that’s like.

This was all when Timothy and Tracey were just getting the lowdown and practices of home schooling their children. The girls are so blessed for all that dedication. Of note, Timothy seemed to never stop amazing me on the fabulous places he and Tracey found for the family.

God bless

Lost Box by Amanda McKinnon 2024 @ Coastal Carolina University

The first Monday back on February 24, 2025 after my brother’s untimely death, I saw this art display on my walk to the Athletic Ticketing Office. I was in route to catch up on a few projects we are in the planning stages of the the 2025/2026 academic year.

It is Spring break for the students and faculty this week. The campus is very busy doing all the task we cannot get done while the clients are on campus. It is a peaceful time.

This display was a real message from God to me on that day saying, hey others are out there hurting just as much. This I know, but sometimes you feel you are the only person hurting/missing someone or something in the world.

Posted on my whiteboard at my desk that is read daily, Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

God bless!

Day 28 Flower Display February 10, 2025 Lexington, Virginia
Flower Display for Celebration of Life of Timothy Virgil Cochran son of William Stephen Cochran, and Family on February 22, 2025

As we go into the first month anniversary of the loss of our major love-one in our short time here on Earth, I watch the flowers grow weaker and weaker at holding their pettles in some cases. In other cases, the flowers are just closing up with time. The evergreens are still holding on strong to the memory.

God bless

Screen Capture February 10, 2025 10:15 – Passed 13:01

The verse that day was:
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1Cor.13.1-1Cor.13.3&version=NKJV

Happy Birthday Dad, welcome to the end of the world.

Dear Dad,

I bet you didn’t think you would ever see an election stolen by less than 16% of the total counties in the total United States of America. There are a total of 3142 counties (per WorldAtlas) in the United States of America. Mr. Biden only won 527 of them (per AP News). But we are supposed to think that a guy that couldn’t get 1,500 people to show up at his campaign events, or that he even campaigned the last six months of the 2020 cycle some how beat the Kenyan’s votes in 2008. By some miracle of Satan this 79 year old life-long political hack from Delaware got 11,000,000 more votes than the half-white communist Obama.

Well, as “social media” and our colleges outlaw Christianity as “hate speech” we can draw comfort that the bible forewarned us of these days ahead. As we have to watch hypocritical idiots of the lighter pigmentation claim they hate their “whiteness” and want socialist democracy to rule the land, we who actually know what happens in a socialist democracy (Nazi Germany) are labeled as bigots, fascist and (by some rather wacky stretch of imagination) Klu Klu Klan / white supremist as we attempt to point them to the thousands of books on what socialist democracy is like in the real world. The “news,” if you can call it that anymore, pushes propaganda more than actual facts to keep the weak-minded in line with the group-think they want them to follow. Hitler would have a massive hard-on for CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC and even (it’s a fucking sports network) ESPN.

It can’t be much longer till Christ returns, and we have to keep that as our real focus. I’m not giving up, but I’m getting real tired of trying to fix issues within the parameters of the rules being “played” only to have the rules be ignored for some and forced on others – just like Russia did for 70 plus years. We keep praying.

More later, if we are allowed to speak.

Sincerely,

You son – Daniel

HIST498 SPR 2018: Entry 001 – 23 January 2018

R.Adm Samuel E. Morison

Dr. Navin lead the class today from our reading assignment. He gave us a citation quiz, which we partner worked on, and other group graded – it was not too good for the class; therefore, thank God it was not graded.

The question today was can you really come up with an interesting and subject writable paper without a thesis written first?

It has been my experience that I have an initial interest in the event(s), and I do come to it with a secondary sources’ opinion to start with in my History research.  However, if I know the particular author writes with a slightly slanted bias on subjects, then I want to find those points that were left out in the final paper in order to support either a confirmation or opposition view on the event(s).

My historiography of an scholarly writer is on Samuel Eliot Morison (1887 – 1976). A man whom died on our nation’s bicentennial after spending a lifetime writing about the History of the North Americas.

Anita Ekberg circa 1960

Anita Ekberg

Pictured here is the lovely Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg back in the 1960s. As an actress, she is best known for her role as Sylvia in the Federico Fellini film La Dolce Vita (1960), but she got her start in the industry as a model. It wouldn’t be until the mid-50’s when she finally broke into films.

The Swedish starlet with her voluptuous physique and colorful private life was a favorite among the gossip magazines. She had highly publicized romances with leading men like Frank Sinatra, Tyrone Power, Yul Brynner, Rod Taylor, and Errol Flynn. For a time, she was even publicized as “Paramount’s Marilyn Monroe”. citation

I’m not a “professional,” but Anita’s face in this photo screams out (to me), “Get me out of this place I am at in my life right now.” Seeing that she had so many “gossip stories” about her sexual endeavors, I can hear her crying out for security and privacy, imho.
